Penn State receives $7,000 recruiting grant

TUCKER, Ga. — Pennsylvania State University recently received a $7,000 student recruiting grant from the USPOULTRY Foundation.

James Adams, alumni of Penn State and treasurer for the USPOULTRY board of directors, presented the check  to Phillip Clauer, senior instructor, coordinator of Pennsylvania Poultry Youth Programs and co-advisor for the Penn State Poultry Science Club, and Dr. Robert Elkin, professor and head of the university's Poultry Science Department.

The USPOULTRY Foundation board recently approved student recruiting grants totaling more than $180,000 to the six U.S. universities with poultry science departments and 14 other institutions with poultry programs. . .
