WASHINGTON — The National Chicken Council has become a member of the Coalition for U.S.-Russia Trade, a broad-based group of U.S. companies and trade associations representing all major sectors of the U.S. economy.
The coalition supports stronger U.S.-Russian economic ties and, specifically, Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization.
NCC noted that for U.S. companies to benefit frrom Russia's accession to the WTO, which was recently adopted, it will be necessary for Congress to lift the Jackson-Vanik amendment with respect to Russia and authorize the president to extend Permanent Normal. . .
