WASHINGTON — Two U.S. agricultural groups have congratulated President Barack Obama on his re-election and called for bipartisan action by the administration and Congress to solve national problems.
Bob Stallman, American Farm Bureau Federation president, said "It is vital that, under the president's leadership, all our elected officials come together in a bipartisan fashion to resolve the challenges we face."
This was echoed by American Soybean Association president Steve Wellman who said "the need for both parties (Democrat and Republican) and the president to work to find common ground on the pressing issues important to our country is. . .
