MIAMI — Popeyes® is putting an end to the ‘chicken wars’ by finally dropping their new chicken nuggets as of July 27 to their menus in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
“Just like our game changing Chicken Sandwich, our new Chicken Nuggets are unlike anything you may have experienced before,” Sam Siddiqui, president of Popeyes said in a press release. “We aim to show the world once again the magic of Popeyes chicken with our new nuggets. We believe that these pieces of crunchy, juicy, delicious chicken will have guests question how they ever enjoyed chicken nuggets before this.”
According to the release, Popeyes’ nuggets are poppable pieces of their famous chicken sandwich, taking the quality and flavors from their iconic sandwich that changed the chicken sandwich game back in 2019. The company states that these new nuggets are a plan to reset guests’ standards. The nuggets are prepared beginning to end in restaurant everyday — seasoned, hand-battered, breaded in buttermilk, signature blend of spices, and fried up fresh to deliver a classically flavorful crispy and juicy bite we all know and love from their sandwich.
If you haven’t been able to get your hands on them yet, you can buy chicken nugget meals ranging from four-piece boxes to 36-piece orders.
